Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of smartshare.social (the “Service”), an application that generates and publishes social media content based on your Shopify store data. By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SmartShare connects to your Shopify store and Instagram business account to select products based on criteria you configure, generate posts that feature your product imagery, and publish them for your approval or automatically according to your settings.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must have an active Shopify store and the authority to connect the Instagram accounts you link. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

3. Your content & license

You retain all rights to your products, imagery, and brand. You grant SmartShare a limited license to access and process this content solely to provide the Service — including staging your product imagery and publishing posts on your behalf.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to publish unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service.
• Comply with the terms of Shopify and Instagram (Meta) at all times.

5. Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. A free plan is available with no card required. Plan limits (such as monthly posts and connected accounts) are described on our pricing page. You can switch between paid plans at any time from the app. You can cancel your paid plan by uninstalling the app or by cancelling the subscription from your Shopify admin; paid features end when the subscription is cancelled, and Shopify's billing terms govern any proration or refunds of the current billing period.

6. Third-party platforms

The Service depends on Shopify and Instagram (Meta) APIs. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or policy decisions made by those platforms that affect the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific reach, engagement, or sales outcomes from published posts.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, smartshare.social shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
